Hello, Gorgeous! I am Cassandra (Cassie) Lourie, and I am the Owner of this snarky operation. I am a self taught jewelry designer + metal smith originally from Santa Barbara, CA. After moving to Denver from California in 2010, I found a love for up cycled + steampunk style jewelry after a life changing trip to Burning Man. Overflowing with ideas from that trip, I  began to make jewelry for myself + as gifts for others. Gradually, with the help of Youtube + a lot of trial + error, I began to hone my craft + my first jewelry line was created: Broken Revolt.

In 2012, I won Denver Accessory Artist of the Year, giving me the confidence I needed to begin turning my hobby into a Side Hustle for actual money. I entered the Colorado Market Scene + this gave me the exposure to keep creating while developing a true voice within my work. In 2016, I made the life changing decision to turn my passion into a full blown career + with that,  Lux + Luca Jewelry Company was born.

Lux + Luca is one part snark  + sass + one part bold + elegance. Joan Jett meets Farrah Fawcett, Leather + Lace, Motor oil + Champagne, you get the idea. I wanted to create a jewelry line that was a perfect combination of Bold + Feminine while inspiring people to step outside their comfort zones + embracing the Grit + Grace that is our every day lives. Whether it's a stamped "Fuck It" cuff or a "Stay Gold" ring, Lux + Luca is for everyone with a little edge or anyone who wants some. 

I has been full time since 2018,  am in over 75 stores nationwide, including The U.K, and Australia, and am currently a partner for Uncommon Goods! Lux + Luca will continue to evolve + bring you the highest quality, handmade jewelry with the uniqueness + personal attention you have grown to love + expect.
